Byron Noir – Lee Young

Lee Young has a new passion and that’s iPhone photography. Byron Noir is a collection of Lee’s images of Byron Bay; “for me Byron is full of many different shades of color, and not just the buildings and mother nature, but the people as well. I wanted to strip away the color taking it back to just raw light and shade”, says Lee. Byron Bay is a place in many people’s heart. Lee is originally… Continue Reading…

On any given Saturday

On any given Saturday there is always a story to be told through a lens. This morning was no different, magical moments in time captured forever. A giant Sea Eagle with his breakfast held tightly in his talons. My Dad and George Greenough discussing the sand banks before George’s morning ritual of  riding his surfmat off the cape. As a non-profit… Continue Reading…

I’m in love with Oman. O’Man!

As a merchant, each year I travel to do  business in the carpet-making regions of Iran Pakistan etc. and thought this year I would take a Holiday after that. Nothing too expensive or too far off this eastern track ‘cos I hate flying. I had heard of Oman, Muscat, and Zanzibar and the fabled right hand points of Al Ashkarah and Ras al Djinn, extreme northern points of the Indian Ocean. Omanis are the Arab Watermen,… Continue Reading…
