There’s nothing quite like walking through a new town. You see those things that the townsfolk sometimes forget are interesting and unique. Heath Missen took one of those wanderings through Mullumbimby and this is what he captured. For more photos from Heath, checkout his facebook page HERE.

This morning I went for a late morning walk with the extended family (someone special to us is getting married on Saturday). So I thought it was a nice opportunity to give a weird little Holga lens (for my Nikon) I bought on Ebay a whirl. Anna Porter was down at Broken Head this morning (May 9th) and captured the last day of a magic run of swell in Byron Bay. Enjoy the pics.

The moon is an elusive character. Ever changing. Bright. Thinks it’s better than us… etc. It proved Alex Frings and I had a few more tricks to learn this evening as we tried to line up ‘oh majesty’ with the lighthouse, thinking we had it dialed with a group of watchers from a hillside perch off Coolamon Scenic Drive. Not even close! But, how could you not enjoy such a beautiful sight, as the moon… Continue Reading…
