Daniel Ridgley Hewitt originally from Melbourne, grew up on 5 acres of land surrounded by fruit trees, native tea tree, ducks and chickens, motorbikes, skateboards and surfboards. Daniel was brought up to live off the land in a circular mud brick home being fully self sustainable with a wood fire oven, organic fruit and vegies, solar energy, rain water and enough room to run a muck without bothering the neighbours.
Drawing inspiration from his childhood, he naturally feels a spark to share the beauty of our country and its diverse nature with others.
"My passion for photography runs deep in my veins... I find joy sharing a beautiful moment and revealing the intricate art that nature natural provides."
Daniel resides in Byron Bay since 2009 and specialises in nature, event and wedding photography. He also produces rustic art frames collecting characteristic wood from the Byron shire adding an encapsulating touch to his artwork.
